Learning Objectives: Pupils should be able to construct five sentences correctly.

-fill in six blanks with the correct verbs

-write a paragraph using simple and compound sentences.

Pre-writing	1. Teacher asks questions to the pupils e.g. (a)Is there any park near your neighbourhood? (b)What are the activities that people usually do at the park? 2. Teacher asks the pupils to refer to their textbook page 47 and list out the words that are related to the pictures.	To help pupils to remember their previous knowledge.
While-writing	Teacher elicits responses based on The picture found in the text book (pg 37) Focus: is verb + ing for single nouns ‘’ A boy is jogging in the park.” are verb + ing for plural countable nouns “ The monkeys are swinging on the tree.” 2. Write five sentences about the picture using is verb +ing and are verb + ing
Production	1. Teacher distributes the worksheets to the pupils. 2. Students write a description about the situation in the park.
